the "atmospheric science trainning" and "geology trainning" are GREAT reviews for the final and apply concepts that we have been learning about to Earth.

W 5.20- absent?  Note plates were distributed (due the day of the final), and a list of items that will be in the homework Check #9 (due Friday) was posted in the classroom.  It is worth 60 points, here are the required items:

  • SciNB p. 106-163 (except for p. 151, 159, and the "chapter wrap-up" pages, and the "before you read" pages which are found at the beginning and end of each chapter)
  • Climate factors notes/foldable (the foldable is pink and white)
  • Mineral Mining Activity Sheet
  • "Chapter Review" worksheet for ch. 14 (Resources)
  • Lorax Notes (most classes have two pages of this - one about renewable/non-renewable resources, another about biotic, abiotic and limiting factors)
