      6th grade reminder - you may retake the chapter 8 quiz on Monday, March 5 afterschool!  (This is a ONE time offer; use the weekend to study.  Keep in mind, whatever you score on the retake, it will replace your score .... regardless if it is higher or lower than the original quiz score....)

1. Use the link below to learn about Dendochronology:

-Take notes on the formation of tree rings in your composition book from the following site, then
-Complete the online Tree Study, and once cempleted, "submit report" and show Mrs. Fischer your "Forest of Fame Certificate" & Mrs. Fischer will stamp your homework page to show credit for finishing the activity.

if there is time, you may attempt the following Radioactive Dating Game (I think this requires a download so it might not work on the school laptops; may check it out at home) otherwise may start on homework.
