M 11.26- all classes: Bring completed ch. 3 in workbook tomorrow, and parent/guardian signature on grade check if not already turned in; 7th grade: also bring completed project.

T 11.27-all classes: read ch. 4 section 1, do corresponding workbook section.  (7th grade: in class we worked on the "Bikini Bottom Genetics" page - finish for next notebook check)

W 11.28- all classes: read ch. 4 section 2, do corresponding workbook section.  In class we are making posters using Comic Life.  It is my expectation that students will complete the posters on Friday.  You can download the poster requirements by following the appropriate link at the bottom of this entry.  If your student is absent (a bug is going around) this week, he or she should create their poster based on the requirements (can be hand done or on the computer with a painting type of program).

R 11.29- all classes: read ch. 4 section 3, do corresponding workbook section.

F 11.30- Wash your parents/guardian's car

M 11.19- In addition to the above mentioned work, a parent/guardian signature is needed on the Grades Report given in class today.  Although the Grades Report may be returned early (put it into the turn in box) it is officially due on Tuesday, 11/27 (since some families may be leaving early for the holiday. 7th graders, it was stated that the project #3 is due today, I intended to have it due after break- as a result, the due date will be 11/27.  Sorry for the confusion.

M 11.12- No school.  Show your respect for one of our Veterans.

T 11.13-  6th grade- Study for tomorrow's test.
7th grade- Project #3 was distributed today.  Students are to research a genetic disorder and record their research on their fishy format paper.  This is due Tuesday, Nov. 20  Nov. 27.  All genetic disorders must be approved by Mrs. Fischer (that part is due tomorrow); in late November, students will be presenting about the disorders.  Regarding Notebook check #2 (returned today in 5°) If the total points received is less than 87.5, students may make improvements to their notebooks and resubmit by the 15th of November with a parent or guardian's signature at the bottom of the grading sheet.  The signature is required in order for a re-grade to occur.

W 11.14-6th grade-  ch. 3 sect. 1 if not already done     
7th grade-What I got wrong and why from test on ch. 1 and 2 (taken last week) due by Monday.  Unfortunately I marked #13 on my answer sheet incorrectly.  The correct answer for #13 is c.  I have corrected this error in the computer system, which re-scored the tests.  If you marked "C" for #13, you will have an additional 2 points on your grade for the test.  If you marked "B", it is incorrect, and your score will be reduced by 2 points.  I will re-enter the scores on Friday during the classroom work time, which will reflect this correction. 

R 11.15- Read and workbook ch. 3 section 2.  Next week's homework which will be due on Nov. 27 for all classes (this allows for families going on longer journeys to get ahead)  Read and workbook chapter 3 section 3 and 4.

F 11.16-  No school for students.  Enjoy sleeping in!  Do that homework!

M- 11.5- 6th grade- Read and workbook ch. 2 sect. 3; last call for notebooks is tomorrow (make sure people with "Fix it" have fixed the mistakes (like unsigned calendars), 6th grade test postponed until end of this week/early next week.
7th grade- read and workbook ch. 2 sect. 4, look at calendar for upcoming test and notebook checks.

T 11.6-6th grade- Read and workbook ch 2 sect 4 (unless I collected your notebook today which means I should that that section, then do ch 3 sect 1 and you'll do ch 2 sect 4 on Thursday)
7th grade- in textbook there are 2 sets of pages to do,

R 11.8- 6th grade- finish Review Sheet from class; tonight and this wekend - ch 3 sect 1 read and workbook. [ if on Tuesday you were unable to do your ch 2 sect 4 workbook pages, get them done for Tuesday 11/12]

F 11.9-6th grade- study ch. 1 and 2 for test; AND make sure you have  do ch 3 sect 1 (see yesterday's note)
