Welcome back from Spring Break!  I've already posted grades in Portal for the grading period which ended Friday, April 5th.  We are starting the final grading period for the year, meaning that we have 6 and a half weeks remaining. 

M 4.18- ch 12 lesson 1 vocabulary definitions, finish RE through p. 150 
(note: students were given about 25 minutes  in class to work on their homework in addition to the 30 minutes they should spend at home on homework each night)

T 4.19- ch 12 lesson 2 vocabulary definitions, finish RE through p. 154

W 4.20- Finish foldable from RE p. 151

R 4.21-TB p. 546-547 all, TB p. 544 # 3-9, TB p. 543 # 10-18 (only write answer in word or letter; no sentences needed) Water cycle in your biome mini poster, & study for tomorrow's ch 12 quiz

F 4.22- Have a great weekend.

Note: State tests are the weks of April 25 and May 2  and we will be following special schedules each day.  Students wrote details of the block testing schedule into their planners - please see your student's planner for more details and be aware that  Friday, April 29, and May 6, has early dismisal at 11:58; sixth graders attend all periods on these two days.

M 4.4- do ch 11 lesson 2 vocabulary & definitions; finish RE through p. 138 (read, highlight main idea, answer Qs)

in class: wrote homework for the week, started reading the RE for ch 11 lesson 2 (aloud), emphasized the formation of high-pressure systems and low-pressure systems and the type of weather which is caused by each.

T 4.5- do ch 11 lesson 3 vocabulary & definitions; finish RE through p. 142 (read, highlight main idea, answer Qs)

W 4.6- do ch 11 lesson 4 vocabulary & definitions; finish RE through p. 146 (read, highlight main idea, answer Qs)

R 4.7- finish Climate Controls for your assigned city

F 4.8- Enjoy spring break next week; reminder about the bonus option: Collect & record Weather Data during the vacation using the online resources on the bottom of the weather data table.  (links were posted online last week as well)
